favorite products

Today, my husband's aunt's sister (I know, that's a mouthful), Betty aka Boo, had a Facebook status stating how much she loves Tervis. It was fun reading that because I have a ginormous obsession with my Tervis tumblers too. I usually have 2-3 out on a daily basis between my water, coffee and whatever else I am drinking. Then, I got to thinking about some of the products we use on a daily basis and how it would be hard to live without some of them once we've had them. It's always fun to discover new products that "change our lives."

It would be so much easier to be a door to door salesman if we all had a box of our "favorite things" to sell instead of a stack of encyclopedias or a vacuum. OR meat. Yes, I said meat. There are some men that come around trying to sell meat door to door. I think it's odd. I have yet to have the meat salesmen come to my door but I know of several friends and family that have. Seriously? You couldn't find anything else to sell besides meat? I'll get my meat somewhere else, thank you.

Anyways, I thought it would be fun to share some of my daily on the go products that I couldn't live without. Okay, I probably would still be breathing. But not happily.

Brides, forget the crystal. Register for all the Tervis tumblers you can get! Whether it comes in the form of a mug, tumbler or my new discovery, a water bottle, these hot/cold double wall plastic babies are down right amazing. They never sweat, if you drop them, they don't shatter and if they happen to crack, you can send them back for a free replacement. Life time warranty, baby! You can get almost anything you want on these from your favorite flower to your favorite sports team! They even come in just plain clear. You can buy different types of lids and straws. My favorite lid happens to be travel lid. Need a gift idea? You can't go wrong! And don't buy the cheap knock offs. They're not the same.

Oakley Aviator Sunglasses

Sunglasses.Duh. Right? You would not believe how many people I see out and about without sunglasses. I can't leave my house without them! This summer, I've been crushing on my aviators by Oakley. They're dressy and sporty all at the same time. I've been wearing Oakley sunglasses since I was 15. I haven't found anything that I like better and I don't wear them because of the name but more for the quality, lack of glare and my eye health. My eye doctor, whenever he gets under his little microscope thingy, can tell that I am an avid sunglasses wearer. I know it's an expensive investment, but look at it as insurance for when you're older. Who wants cataract surgery? I don't. I've seen those horrendous goggle like things you have to wear afterwards. Uh uh. No way. These are way cooler.

Rarely do I leave the house without this thing. I can throw my purse, camera, jacket, water bottle and everything else I need all in one spot. It's not too small and it's not too big. It's great for taking to work as well especially when you're juggling your lunch box, snacks, purse, keys and everything else we women juggle around on a daily basis.

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

Hands down. The best lip treatment ever. I don't care what anyone else says. I have one in my nightstand, my bathroom drawer and in my purse. I love the tingly feeling and your lips stay moist for hours. I've been using this since junior high. It use to be EXTREMELY hard to find. Then Bath and Body Works started carrying it and it was easier to get a hold of. Now it's very commercialized and you can find it everywhere. I've even seen it at gas stations and Wal-Mart.

Sperry's Boat Shoe

I was timid at first, but now I'm hooked. Okay, so I wouldn't exactly say these are a DAILY staple but they are the handiest pair of shoes I've ever owned. Being a boot and sneaker girl, it's very hard to find cooler shoes on those hot days that aren't flip flops. I know I don't live anywhere near a boat, but these shoes go with almost literally everything. I recommend getting a neutral pair like the ones I own above. They make a lot of fun, tempting colors but these in linen oat are simple and practical.

Ironically, this little dude eliminates a lot of other daily products. Hands down, the coolest thing I've ever owned. It has replaced my calendar, calculator, note pad, camera, computer, ipod and so much more. I love icloud and it's capabilities of being able to access my photos and music from any of my devices. I absolutely love everything about this gadget. It's amazing how much you can do with this device that is so much more than a phone. It can be a time saver but it also can be a time waster, too!

And there you have it! A few of my favorite products that I enjoy on a day to day basis. It's always about the simple things! Like a double wall plastic tumbler. Who knew?
